LA PROCURADURÍA DESTITUYÓ A UN CONCEJAL POR VIOLAR RÉGIMEN DE INHABILIDADES

Según acaba de informar en su página web, la Procuraduría General de la Nación destituyó e inhabilitó por 10 años al actual concejal de Topaipí, Cundinamarca, Yhon Edison Torres Durán, al considerar que incurrió en falta gravísima a título de culpa gravísima, por haber violado el régimen de inhabilidades para ser elegido, como quiera que dentro del año anterior a la elección suscribió dos contratos con la Personería del mismo Municipio.

Esta decisión queda en firme y contra ella no procede ningún recurso por tratarse de un fallo de segunda instancia.

EL DNP PUBLICÓ EL RANQUIN DEL DESEMPEÑO FISCAL DE LOS MUNICIPIOS PARA EL AÑO 2012

El Departamento Nacional de Planeación ha publicado recientemente, como todos los años por estos días, la clasificación de los municipios colombianos según su desempeño fiscal correspondiente a la vigencia 2012.

Tal como lo explicamos en nuestra nota correspondiente al año anterior, la evaluación del desempeño fiscal, analiza el porcentaje de ingresos corrientes destinados a funcionamiento; la magnitud de la deuda; el porcentaje de ingresos que corresponden a transferencias; el porcentaje de ingresos corrientes que corresponden a recursos propios; el porcentaje del gasto total destinado a inversión; y la capacidad de ahorro. Con base en estos resultados se obtiene un indicador de desempeño fiscal y la posición de cada municipio en los niveles nacional y departamental comparado con los demás municipios del país.

Para el año 2012, los mejores diez municipios a nivel nacional son Monterrey (Casanare), Rionegro (Antioquia), Cota (Cundinamarca), Nobsa (Boyacá), Tenjo (Cundinamarca), Sopó (Cundinamarca), Cajicá (Cundinamarca), Barrancabermeja (Santander), Itagui (Antioquia) y Chiquinquirá (Boyacá).

En 2011, los primeros cinco municipios a nivel nacional fueron Cota (Cundinamarca), Monterrey (Casanare), Cajicá (Cundinamarca), Nobsa (Boyacá) y Tenjo (Cundinamarca).
